Cheniere Energy’s 1st Annual Charitable Fishing Classic “Wounded Warrior Benefit” is open to the public for participation but our Louisiana Wounded Warriors are in for a special treat! They will be honored the entire weekend with free entry into the tournament, lodging and food.
RULES & ELIGIBILITY FOR WOUNDED WARRIORS:
· To be eligible to participate you must have incurred service-connected wounds, injuries, or illnesses on or after September 11, 2001 while in support of OEF/OIF/OND. Verification is required.
· There is limited space so online registration is required and selection is based on first come first serve.
Wounded Warrior Weekend includes (Friday to Sunday): 1. Friday and Saturday night lodging (no charge) 2. Food and beverages (no charge) 3. Fishing equipment, bait and fishing guide with boat (no charge) 4. Entry into fishing tournament (no charge)
5. If you chose to bring your own boat, your fuel will be paid for.
SCHEDULE:
· FRIDAY, June 22nd:
o Check In: 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm
o Dinner and Welcome: 7:30 pm
· SATURDAY, June 23rd:
o Breakfast: 4:30 am to 5:30 am
o Fishing Tournament:
§ Fishing: 6:00 am to 3:00 pm (lunch provided)
§ Weigh In: 3:00 pm (fisherman must be in line at 4:00 pm to be allowed to weigh in)
§ Awards and Food: TBD (following the weigh in)
· SUNDAY, June 24th:
o Breakfast: 8:00 am to 9:00 am
o Check Out: 10:00 am to 11:00 am
