Premium fishing rod manufacturer Denali Rods signs FLW Tour Angler Kenneth “Boo” Woods to pro-staff agreement. “We are thrilled to have Boo join our staff. Woods has three top-ten finishes so far in his career with FLW. The latest a fifth place finish this year on Lake Pickwick was a key to bringing Woods to Denali Rods. Woods explained, “I used a 7’0″ Denali Rosewood jig rod at the Pickwick event and I absolutely loved it.”
In the FLW off-season Woods guides on Lake Okeechobee. “We’ve caught some giants with the Jadewood Flippin’ Stick. What amazes my clients is that the rod they are using costs about $100 from Denali. Most of them guess it is a high end, several hundred dollar fishing rod. Which makes it the perfect rod for me as a fishing guide. I can let my clients use a rod they’ll love and they don’t cost me a small fortune.”
