Forrest Wood Cup Starter

The first day of the festivities was a day to remember for the cities of Shreveport and Bossier. The Forrest Wood Cup will forever leave their mark on the twin cities with their amazing planning and generosity. For Ultimate Bass the day started out with a warm welcome by the FLW staff, the ladies and gentlemen more than willing to help in any way possible. The evening led to dinner with the Pros at the Horseshoe Casino and a more than incredible presentation by the FLW staff. The anglers that have qualified for the Cup this year are among some of the most talented men in professional bass fishing.

Look for some of the best surprises this week! First there is David Fritts an all-time favorite, and then we have the youngest angler to ever win the Forrest Wood Cup Jacob Wheeler the defending Champion which should make this week’s tournament interesting to say the least

Make sure you stay up on the FWC news. You can always visit the Ultimate Bass Facebook Page to see what is going on while we are visiting with the anglers and the venders at the expo. Be sure to check in often as we will be updating as much as possible.

You can join Alan Gray and Daniel Fennel at the bottom of the hours between 9:30AM to 2:30PM for the Cup Insider starting on Friday. You will get the up to date information on what is happening with your favorite pro every hour at the bottom of the hour. All you have to do is tune in to FLW.com or the FLW YouTube Channel.

There is also an app in the App Store “FLW Tournament Bass Fishing” App. It is awesome! Check it out. You can get the live updates as well as access fishing tips, tournament information, featured anglers, Fantasy Fishing, current news and much more. The app is free so take a minute and download it, it is available to both iOS and Android users. Just search FLW!
