Local news outlets gathered during the press conference to announce Knoxville hosting the 2018 Bassmaster Classic presented by DICK’S Sporting Goods.
Speakers included B.A.S.S. CEO Bruce Akin; B.A.S.S. Executive Vice President, Director Chase Anderson; Knoxville Mayor Madeline Rogero; and Knox County Mayor Tim Burchett.
Tennessee Elites Brandon Coulter, Brandon Card, John Murray, David Walker, David Mullins, Wesley Strader and Ott DeFoe were on hand for the announcement as well.
