Tightlines UV Adds Justin Lucas to Pro Staff

Guntersville, Ala. – Fishing tackle innovator Tightlines UV has added FLW Tour pro Justin Lucas to the 2013 pro-staff. Lucas will be running a Tightlines UV wrap for his demanding 17-tournament season including events on the FLW Tour, BASS Opens and PAA Tour.

Lucas, who is one of the young stars of the FLW Tour, has already won over $430,000 during his early career. With five top ten finishes as a pro, and another 12 top ten finishes as a co-angler, Lucas has cemented himself as a contender in any event he enters.

Lucas joins the Tightlines UV Staff after finding success with them in 2012. He explains, “Last year I nearly won the FLW Tour event at the Potomac River on the UVenko. I caught two huge bags in that tournament strictly on that bait, not to mention the biggest fish of the whole event. The UV enhanced technology that is put in these baits absolutely gets me extra bites. I have seen it firsthand many times over the past year. I am proud to be running a wrap for a team that includes first class guys like Brent Chapman, Bill Lowen and Byron Velvick. They are all incredible fishermen.”

Brett Ware, of Tightlines UV, likes what Lucas adds to his strong pro staff. “Justin is a great ambassador for our sport. He works with college anglers, has a huge social media presence and is always ready and willing to share a tip with the weekend angler. Justin is a strong angler, and although his tournament winnings are already akin to many veterans, webelieve his career is still budding,” explains Ware.

Ware continues, “Adding Lucas to our national pro staff with Chapman, Lowen and Velvick will help us reach the younger generation of anglers. Plus, Justin adds to our exposure level at FLW Tour events.”

This year don’t look for Lucas in the traditional green Tightlines UV wrap, instead he will be running a new look purple wrap.
