Look for a great show at the Shreveport Convention Center today with a tremendous amount of vendors that have all come here to Shreveport and Bossier just to see you. The number of booths at this year’s event will surprise you! The Forest Wood Cup is growing by leaps and bounds each year and this year is no different. You should have no trouble finding something that you are interested in here at the show today, the ladies can visit the Real Girls Fish to check out their Bling Shirts that any lady would be proud to wear even if they don’t fish and there are several things that you can do with your children while you are visiting the booths here at the show today. The Forest Wood Cup truly is a family event.
I got a sneak preview of what is to come this morning. I had a chance to visit with the Staff from the Lowrance booth, they mentioned that this will be the first public viewing of the Elite-5 HDI. Our very own Todd Driscoll will be in the booth to answer questions along with several other incredibly talented staff. If you have a Lowrance Electronics question this is the time to stop by the booth and ask it. I don’t know anyone better to answer your questions than this group of people. Be sure you let them know you are an Ultimate Bass viewer.
You will get a treat in the Chevy booth this year! They are featuring the all new 2014 Chevy Silverado, available with a 5.3L C8 EcoTec3 engine and a host of other goodies that you are going to have to see for yourself. They have a special exhibit that you won`t see just anywhere, stop by and check it out. They are going to show you why Chevy is the better truck for your money and believe me, they are really going to show you, not just talk about it. You will love their booth if you are a Chevy fan.
The last mention for the morning is Livingston Lures. Their reputation proceeds them and they are here to show you just how their baits work. This is the first time for Livingston Lures to attend the Forest Wood Cup and they have 3 top anglers in the tournament and hope to come out on top. Stop by the booth and see Erick Arnoldson and he will show you the clear difference. Livingston Lures is a great supporter of Ultimate Bass and Mike and I personally love their products, we would love for you to take a minute to stop by their booth and see what all the hype is about instead of just hearing us talk about it.
The Forest Wood Cup expo is open 9:00am to 4:30 on Friday and there are free shuttles from the Century Link Center to the Shreveport Convention Center approximately every 15 minutes from 9am to 4:30pm. The Forest Wood Cup weigh in will start at 5pm at the Century Link Center. The doors open at 4pm to the public. We expect a great turnout for the weight in today and the anglers are all doing their part to catch fish and make this a great show for you!
