Jared LeBlue

Welcome to the Ultimate Bass website. My name is Jared LeBlue and I have been with Ultimate Bass since its inception. I have been happily married to my wife Susie for 22 years and counting. Susie and I have two awesome kids keeping us busy at all times. I graduated from Eunice High School and attended Louisiana State University-Eunice and McNeese State University where I eventually graduated. I worked for McNeese State University for almost 20 years and then moved to my current Job with the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury. I am the Operations Manager for the Burton Complex, a multi building event center hosting over 200 events a year. Needless to say my job keeps me pretty busy but I do manage to get out quite a bit a do some bass fishing and deer hunting.

My addiction to hunting and fishing can be credited to my dad who introduced me to both at a very early age. I have been fishing tournaments for over 30 years and still love it. Most of my fishing experience when I was younger came from small lakes in the central region of Louisiana. I have since fished all over the state of Louisiana, and several lakes in Texas and Arkansas.

Most of my tournament experience has come from local club tournaments, but I have also fished a few open events. Over the years I have been associated with several different bass clubs. In 2000, I founded the Lock Jaw Bass Club out of Kinder, Louisiana. I have been associated with this club the longest and currently serve as President. I also helped start the Ultimate Bass Club Shootout (UBCS); a tournament affiliated with the Ultimate Bass Website. The UBCS has been going strong for over 10 years and in 2016 we had our largest turnout since its inception.

It has been a privilege to be associated with the Ultimate Bass family and I have thoroughly enjoyed my years here on the website. The people on Ultimate Bass are the best and the staff keeping things nice and neat are great to work with.

I don’t know what the future holds for me in this great sport, but for now I’m just along for the ride and enjoying every minute of it. The good Lord blessed me with a wonderful wife, great kids, and an ability to do what I love most–bass fishing. I will always be grateful and hope everyone is as blessed as I have been. Always remember to lift up our troops in prayers and thank them for keeping us safe and free so we can enjoy what God has given us.

Thank you for stopping by. I look forward to reading everyone’s posts and fishing reports and hopefully someday meeting at one of our Ultimate Bass events.
