Hey there and welcome to Ultimate Bass! My name is Steven Petrozella (member name spetro). I was born in Miami back in the great year of 1957. Spent my elementary years in North Miami Beach. My Dad got a job offer and moved us 35 miles north-west into a town called Coral Springs…And I’m still there 39 years later. I work for a world wide chemical company. We provide chemical products to hotels, restaurants, schools, cruise ships, military bases, hospitals, food processing plants, and more. In my spare time I like to do three things, they are as follows:
1. Provide my time and service to the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary.
2. Spending time talking and learning things at www.ultimatebass.com
3. Fishing and boating…until I can’t stand or stay awake.
Home State: Florida
Home Lake: Lake Okeechobee
Days on the Water: 65-100
Years Fishing Experience: 40
I was ordered by wifey…in December ’03 to go buy a boat. I guess I was driving her nuts. Well I bought a 170tf Nitro with and Evinrude 115 HP on EBAY, drove to TN to pick it up. It didn’t need much work but I had to rip the 35# 12 volt tracker trolling motor off and installed a 74# 24 volt Minn Kota with dual onboard chargers, new set of tires, some letters. I had my choice on any boat, this one fit nice in my garage so….. done deal, for a while. A need for speed took over. In June of 2004, my South Carolina Buddies turned me on to a 2004 Triton TR-21PD with a 225hp Optimax. This beauty has every bell and whistle you can think of, including a 36 volt 109# Motor Guide trolling motor. I dumped the MG for a Minn Kota 84#.
Now all I want to do is screw off. I’ve dumped all my effort and being into this boat and my re-found hobby. Since I have this new attitude, I am guessing I’ll be out of the house and living under a bridge within 18 months. I can only hope that the bridge is over fresh water, with access to the Everglades and Okeechobee.
