Tucker Wins BFL on Weiss Lake

Terry Tucker of Gadsden, Ala., caught a 5-bass limit weighing 23 pounds, 10 ounces Saturday, March 27, 2010 to win $3,879 in the FLW BFL Bama Division tournament on Weiss Lake. The sun was shining and the wind was blowing while Tucker bagged his limit crankin’ & flippin’ a jig mid lake.

Joe Bethea, Jr., of Deatsville, Ala., caught a 5-bass limit weighing 11 pounds, 11 ounces Saturday, March 27, 2010 to win $1,940 in the FLW BFL Bama Co-angler Division on Weiss Lake. He was swimming a jig mid lake to catch his limit as well.

The third and next BFL Bama Division tournament is scheduled for May 8, at Logan Martin Lake in Pell City, Ala. After the fifth Bama Division tournament is complete, the top 40 boaters and co-anglers based on point standings will qualify for the Regional Championship at Lake Guntersville in Guntersville, Ala., on Oct. 2-3, for a chance to win a 198VX Ranger boat with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Yamaha outboard and a Chevy pick-up, co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
