Boater Dick Shaffer of Rockford, Ohio, caught a nine-bass total weighing 11 pounds, 9 ounces Oct. 2-3 to win $6,054 in the BFL Hoosier Division Super Tournament on the Ohio River.

The next BFL Hoosier Division tournament, the Regional Championship, is scheduled for Oct. 21-23 on Kentucky Lake in Gilbertsville, Ky. The top 40 boaters and co-anglers from the Buckeye, Hoosier, Michigan and Great Lakes Divisions have qualified for the Regional Championship, where the top six boaters and top six co-anglers will advance to the BFL All-American.
