Chad Pipkens of Holt, Mich., caught a 5-bass limit weighing 27 pounds, 10 ounces Saturday, June 5, 2010 to win $3,545 in the FLW BFL Michigan Division tournament on Burt/Mullett Lakes. Under partly cloudy skies Pipkens was sight fishing in 10-15 feet of water in Burt Lake to bag his limit.

Jay Shaffer of Bath, Mich., caught a 5-bass limit weighing 17 pounds, 4 ounces Saturday, June 5, 2010 to win $1,733 in the FLW BFL Michigan Co-angler Division on Burt/Mullett Lakes. Shaffer was using a Jackall Cross Tail in green pumpkin in 10-15 feet of water to catch his spawning fish.

The next BFL Michigan Division tournament is scheduled for July 17, at the Detroit River in Trenton, Mich. After the fifth Michigan Division tournament is complete, the top 40 boaters and co-anglers based on point standings will qualify for the Regional Championship at Kentucky Lake in Gilbertsville, Ky., on Oct. 21-23 for a chance to win a 198VX Ranger boat with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Yamaha outboard and a Chevy pick-up, co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
