Mike Brueggen of Lacrosse, Wis, caught a 5-bass limit weighing 15 pounds, 10 ounces Saturday, July 24, 2010 to win $4,037 in the FLW BFL Great Lakes Division tournament on the Mississippi River. On a hot Saturday Brueggen was using Lethal Bombs and frogs in the Main Lake Pool 10 to catch his limit. He was targeting current breaks and weed mats to sack his limit.

The next and final BFL Great Lakes Division tournament in 2010 is scheduled for Aug. 28-29, at the Mississippi River in Lacrosse, Wis. After the fifth Great Lakes Division tournament is complete, the top 40 boaters and co-anglers based on point standings will qualify for the Regional Championship at Kentucky Lake in Gilberstville, Ky., on Oct. 21-23, for a chance to win a 198VX Ranger boat with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Yamaha outboard and a Chevy pick-up, co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
