Scott Bateman of Washington, Ind., caught a 5-bass limit weighing 14 pounds, 15 ounces Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010 to win $2,985 in the FLW BFL Hoosier Division tournament on Lake Monroe. Under cloudy skies he was fishing wooded areas on the main lake with a 10” worm in 2-4 feet of water to sack his limit.

Ryan Taylor of Muncie, Ind., caught a 5-bass limit weighing 12 pounds, 11 ounces Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010 to win $1,489 in the FLW BFL Hoosier Co-angler Division on Lake Monroe. He was using a Monroe Special in the main lake about 11-12 feet deep to catch his limit.

The next BFL Hoosier Division tournament is scheduled for Oct. 2-3, at the Ohio River/Rocky Point in Cannelton, Ind. After the fifth Hoosier Division tournament is complete, the top 40 boaters and co-anglers based on point standings will qualify for the Regional Championship at Kentucky Lake in Gilbertsville, Ky., on Oct. 21-23, for a chance to win a 198VX Ranger boat with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Yamaha outboard and a Chevy pick-up, co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
