Jacob Wheeler flew past us and we followed him back into a small cut. He had the motor on high and was fishing fast but methodical.
As we eased in, he told B.A.S.S. photographer Garrick Dixon he has had quite a few bites but it has yet to set the hook. That has to be a good sign!
