Marshal Robinson and Mason Fulmer of the Byrnes Rebel High School team are unofficially in the lead with over 14 pounds. The Rebel’s biggest fish is a 4-pound largemouth. The two have caught their quality fish off of spawning beds in the back of creeks on the south end of the lake. The area they are fishing is the same area Jordan Lee capitalized during the Bassmaster Classic a few weeks ago. As I send this in, Fulmer worked a 2-pounder off the bed with precision.
