The FISHHER Sisters

Being sisters who are separated by 14 years in age and more than 1200 miles has not let Linda Berry of Madison, North Carolina and Denese Freeman of Lawton, Oklahoma interfere with their desire to share their love of bass fishing and work together on an internet web site devoted to promoting other women anglers who desire to compete on the same level as male anglers.

This sisterly bond is what caught the attention of Angie Michaels, CEO and founder of FISHHER, an on-line e-store with fishing and outdoor gear designed specifically for women. Angie became acquainted with Berry and Freeman when she answered a request for writers to submit material to a new web site launched by the sisters in September 2005 called ebassfish.com. Angie is an avid angler herself and loves writing articles that teach young anglers how to fish.

When Michaels prepared to debut her new company in 2006, she recruited Berry and Freeman to advise her from a tournament angler’s point of view and to help promote the FISHHER website. Michaels was also excited about the new Women’s Bassmaster Tour and wanted to show her support for the women anglers. She even fished the 1st WBT tournament at Neely Henry in Gadsden, Alabama after Berry convinced her that she needed to be a part of history in the making.

FISHHER.com was launched to provide valuable both educational and instructional information to women anglers of any age who desire to enjoy fishing as a past-time or a profession. With the launch of the FISHHER e-store, female anglers will now have access to quality gear designed for women at a very affordable price.

Because of Berry’s and Freeman’s dedication to Michaels and their desire to help promote her company and it’s line of products to women anglers around the country, FISHHER has announced it’s sponsorship of the "FISHHER Sisters" on the 2007 Women’s Bassmaster Tour.

The FISHHER Sisters are preparing to fish the first tournament of the 2007 WBT season on Lake Amistad in Del Rio, Texas on February 8-10. From there, they will attend the 2007 Bassmaster’s Classic in Birmingham, Alabama from February 22nd until the 25th to show support for the 12 pro-anglers and 12 co-anglers who qualified for the very first B.A.S.S Women’s Bassmaster Championship tournament on Lake Mitchell. If you are in Birmingham attending the Classic, stop by the FISHHER booth and meet Angie Michaels and the FISHHER Sisters and take a look at the stylish and durable FISHHER gear which is designed to make your angling adventures more comfortable. In the meantime, visit www.FISHHER.com and see what all the excitement is about.
