WASHINGTON, Mo. – Bass Edge reaches a milestone this week when “The Edge,” the television show’s weekly podcast companion, broadcasts its 100th episode. The show will be available beginning Friday on iTunes.com and on bassedge.com.

“Man, it’s hard to believe. It seems just like yesterday we kicked it off,” said Aaron Martin, host of “The Edge” and Bass Edge television. “Doing the podcast is so much fun. It’s an opportunity to sit back, relax and just enjoy talking about bass fishing.”

Martin is joined on the “The Edge” by co-host Steve Brigman, an editor and producer for Bass Edge television. Each week, the world’s top anglers contribute in-depth interviews on the latest tips and techniques in bass fishing. Guests have included Mike Iaconelli, Rick Clunn, Skeet Reese, Denny Brauer, Boyd Duckett, Alton Jones, Aaron Martens and dozens of others. The show also features “Ask the Pro” and a weekly prize giveaway. “The Edge” is now the No. 1 bass fishing podcast on iTunes.

As part of the 100th episode celebration, “The Edge” will give one lucky winner a prize package that includes one of each of the Bass Edge products on sale at bassedge.com The giveaway will include: the books “Somebody’s Gotta Do It” and “The Psychology of Exceptional Fishing,” a Cook’s Go-To Tackle Storage System, an Electronics 101 DVD, Bass Edge Seasons 1 and 2 DVD sets, a “Fishing on the Edge” T-shirt and a Bass Edge cap.

Details on how to enter will be announced on this week’s podcast, which will feature top Women’s Bassmaster Tour pro Pam Martin-Wells discussing Florida’s St. Johns River and fishing the tides. Elite Pro Mark Tucker will reveal his five “go-to” baits.

Martin-Wells also is the guest host on the Bass Edge television episode on St. Johns to air March 12-14 and June 11-13 on Outdoor Channel.
