1st place Steve Reneau and Kermit Burns with 12.53 lbs. They had 4 fish alive and reported catching their fish on Wobble Heads in black and blue fleck. "We caught all our fish in grass in creeks." Their big fish weighed 5.07 lbs. Congratulations….
2nd place Brian Walters and Terry Felder with 8.94 lbs. They had 5 fish alive and reported catching the fish on an assortment of tackle including; Spinnerbaits, Buzzbaits, worms, and senko’s. "We caught fish mostly on dock’s with brush piles and tree’s in the west end." In addition to the fish the team caught, Brain was also creditied with catching chili on his shirt courtesy of Terry’s driving, recreational boat traffic, and Barron’s marina.
3rd place Mike Noble and Ron Fogleson with 7.49 lbs. Again at this tournament Mike was fishing alone due to Ron’s absence due to military duties. Mike had 5 fish alive and reports catching all his fish on a plum worm. "I caught all the fish on rock banks and bridge pilings."
Big bass of 6.31 lbs went to Earnie and Trey Cella. "I caught that fish on my third cast." Trey reports catching the fish on a "buzzbait"…When asked the make of the buzzbait he stated; "It was a bitsy bug triple buzz flipping buzzbait." We are still wanting to have a look at that one…
Twin Cities Team Club will hold its next tournament on August 7th and it will be a night tournament. Lake is yet to be determined by vote……
