The Forrest Wood Cup, the world championship of bass fishing, will visit the Red River and Shreveport/Bossier City, La., August 15-18. The tournament will feature 46 of the world’s best bass pros and co-anglers vying for the sport’s biggest award – $500,000 cash in the pro division and $50,000 cash in the co-angler division.

On Friday, August 16, come out to the FLW Outdoors Show & Expo at the Shreveport Convention Center to meet some of the top Mercury-sponsored FLW Tour pros. Mercury product experts will also be on hand to answer all of your questions. Cast members from History Channel’s Swamp People™ on History®, including Mercury pro Troy Landry and his son Chase, will be at the Convention Center for a meet-and-greet with fans.
Take a free test ride in a Mercury-powered Ranger bass boat on Saturday and Sunday, August 17-18. The test boats will be at Red River South Marina with rides available from 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on both days.
