Springville, Ala. – Bassmaster Elite Series professional Randy Howell and Livingston Lures have agreed to a sponsorship deal for the 2013 season. Randy Howell, who finished 5th in the 2012 season AOY standings, will be working with Livingston to reach anglers around the country. In addition, Howell will be assisting Livingston with future bait development and testing.
Howell believes Livingston Lures is acompany to watch; “Livingston not only has some unique qualities in their baits that I really believe in, but the people behind the company are smart, passionate about fishing and serious about improving the tools we use to catch fish.”
Howell has always been a believer in sound technology. He explains, “I’ve been a big proponent of utilizing sound to catch bass. Products like the Hydrowave unit have made an impact in my fishing. Likewise, the proprietary sound technology built into Livingston’s baits make a lot of sense to me and I am excited to use them this season.”
Livingston’s all-new product line includes deep and shallow diving crankbaits, wakebaits, topwaters and jerkbaits, all featuring the company’s innovative vibration and sound technology. Livingston Lures’ Scuttle Buzz Hybrid Spinner Bait, an easy-to-cast lure designed to imitate a full pod of baitfish, is also creating widespread excitement among serious bass anglers.
Livingston Lures’ C.E.O. Fred Battah looks forward to working with Randy Howell. “Randy is a great angler; his tournament success has proved that. Even more important to us, he enthusiastically shares his knowledge and expertise with anglers of all levels. We know our lures will help Randy catch more fish. We also know that as he shares his proven techniques with other anglers, he will help them catch more fish with Livingston Lures.”
Howell’s season kicks off in late January at the BASS Southern Open on Lake Toho, Florida before heading to his eleventh Bassmaster Classic in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
