Seneca Falls, NY: After what seems like an eternal "off-season", Jasper Pro Jimmy Ward has dusted off his Jasper Engines and Transmissions sponsored boat and truck and prepares to travel to Lake Cayuga near Seneca Falls, NY for the first event of his 2006 angling tour season on June 25.
"Wow, it’s been a long time coming," said Ward. "I have been pumped to get the season started since the end of last season! Now with my Bassmaster Tour card in hand, I look forward to a strong season of fishing here in the Northeast."
Part of the ESPN Outdoors Bassmaster Series, Adirondack Division, Cayuga Lake hosts the first event of the 2006 season. Additional events will be held across the New York lakes including Lake Champlain, Lake Erie, Chautauqua Lake, 1000 Islands and Oneida Lake. All of these Bassmaster events lead up to the 2006 Bassmaster Regional Championship at Potomac River in Charles County, Maryland in October.

In 2005, Ward was a rookie on the professional tour and earned high marks from his fellow competitors, receiving his Bassmaster Tour card and scoring several strong finishes in both Bassmaster and FLW tour events.
