WASHINGTON, Mo. The fishing is good against a backdrop of flooded cypress trees and Spanish moss. Bass Edge host Aaron Martin and 2007 Forest Wood Cup winner Scott Suggs take on Caddo Lake in Uncertain, Texas in the episode to air Mach 19-21 and June 18-20 on Outdoor Channel. Catch Bass Edge in high-definition at 8 a.m. EST Thursdays, 9 a.m. Fridays and 2:30 p.m. Saturdays.
Viewers will learn how to pattern bass in tough conditions fishing cypress trees, Suggs explained. We moved around the lake and hunted clear water, trees out of the current and isolated clumps of trees on submerged humps and ditch banks.
Filming with Aaron and Bass Edge was phenomenal, he added. The show is a great way to educate anglers on the challenges of bass fishing and new techniques they can use to catch bass on their next trip to the lake.
Also on this episode, B.A.S.S. pro Mark Tucker shares some of his flipping tips; Dr. Jay McNamara examines how to make better decisions on the water; Mike Webb offers tips on throwing a baitcaster.
