Lake Conroe, Texas Evan Williams Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is extending its partnership with the Toyota Texas Bass Classic to include the Saturday, October 17 concert from Lake Conroe. The Saturday Concert brought to you by Evan Williams Bourbon will be headlined by Texas country music legend Pat Green and will also include a performance by Zona Jones. The Evan Williams Bourbon Barrel will offer a variety of their selection of fine bourbons from the event site. The Toyota Texas Bass Classic (TTBC) will be held October 16 18 in Montgomery, Texas.
Evan Williams Bourbon is excited about extending our involvement in professional bass fishing by being the Official Bourbon of the Toyota Texas Bass Classic, stated Susan Wahl, Brand Manager for Evan Williams at Heaven Hill Distilleries. Sponsorship of the Pat Green and Zona Jones concert at the event is yet another way for us to support an important and growing sport and reach many of our consumers in a meaningful way.
Evan Williams was previously announced as the official bourbon of the TTBC. With their commitment to the Saturday concert, Evan Williams will have a variety of products and merchandise available for fans. The highlight of this is the Evan Williams Bourbon Barrel a full bar featuring Evan Williams Bourbon and signature cocktail, the Bourbon-Rita.
A limited quantity of discounted pre-sale tickets for Friday, Saturday and Sunday are currently available at $10 per day. Tickets for Saturday and Sunday include admission to the concerts on that particular day. Kids 17 and under are admitted free when accompanied by a ticketed adult. Proceeds from the TTBC benefit the Texas Parks and Wildlife Departments youth outdoor recreation programs. Fans can purchase tickets online at www.toyotatexasbassclassic.com. Use login code TTBC2009 to validate the pre-sale offer. Once this pre-sale offer sells out, tickets will be available at their normal prices of $20 a day for Saturday and Sunday. Friday tickets will remain at $10.
Evan Williams has a strong commitment to the bass fishing industry and will continue to be the primary sponsor of Professional Anglers Association pro Jason Quinn of Lake Wylie, South Carolina, whose boat and tow vehicle prominently displays the brand. Quinn is a two-time TTBC qualifier.
The Toyota Texas Bass Classic is sanctioned by the Professional Anglers Association with technical assistance and support from Texas Parks and Wildlife Departments Inland Fisheries Division. Title sponsor for the event is Toyota. Dicks Sporting Goods is the official sporting goods provider. The Saturday Concert is presented by Evan Williams, the official bourbon of the TTBC.
