Mike and I fish as much as we can and because of our work schedule inclement weather seems to be part of our fishing pattern. That makes outerwear an important part of our bass fishing equipment. I recently had the opportunity to try out the DRI-DUCK “for her” Endurance DDX. The DDX line is made to handle extreme conditions and I was very pleased with it’s performance.

In the past I have had to bundle up to stay warm enough to enjoy fishing on a cold day and with the DRI-DUCK Endurance DDX I was able to shed a couple of those layers of clothing enabling me to fish more comfortably and probably catch a few extra bass simply because I could move more freely.
The Endurance is a soft shell, 4-way stretch waterproof fabric with a Teflon coating and a soft microfiber interior. It was extremely comfortable!
I know you have all experienced climbing into the boat on a cold morning, hardly able to move; thermals on with jeans and sweatshirt atop that and then your jack and sometimes your rain gear to top it off.
Being able to move freely in your boat while fishing is extremely important; not only when you are fishing or landing that big bass but also for your safety. Being restricted by mounds of clothing can be hazardous if you fall into the water. You should always ware a life vest when on the water but even then being restricted could mean the difference between getting back in the boat or not.
The DRI-DUCK Endurance DDX is a great choice when you are looking for cold weather gear. I have been wearing mine every chance I get on and off the water. Not only is it warm and waterproof, it is stylish.
