Lake Conroe, Texas – Audiovox, a leader in the marketing and supply of consumer and automobile electronics, will partner with the Toyota Texas Bass Classic to become the title sponsor of the tournament’s unique pro-am competition. The Audiovox Pro-Am will be held Thursday, October 15 at Lake Conroe in Montgomery, Texas. The pro-am consists of one professional angler fishing on a team with two amateurs. Amateurs compete for a variety of prizes while learning from and interacting with the world’s best anglers. Oakley is joining the tournament to outfit the entire pro-am with select polarized fishing specific sunglasses. The Toyota Texas Bass Classic (TTBC) will be held October 16 – 18.

For the first year, the TTBC is positioned as the world championship of the Professional Anglers Association (PAA) Tournament Series and the format will be an individual angling competition, making the event a true world championship. The field will be comprised of 60 anglers, all qualified members of the PAA who earn spots based on PAA Tournament Series finishes or other merits.

The Toyota Texas Bass Classic is sanctioned by the Professional Anglers Association with technical assistance and support from Texas Parks and Wildlife Department’s Inland Fisheries Division. Title sponsor for the event is Toyota. Dick’s Sporting Goods is the official sporting goods provider. Evan Williams is the official bourbon.
