I am curious about his one.  The farthest I have driven my BassCat Eyra was 90 miles round trip on the Alabama River.  Lot's of fun too.  Will do it again this fall at Brech Marine's annual fall tournament.   ~gf

Now if you ever get in a boat with Bama96 hang on!   PoPo PoPo PoPo PoPo PoPo

Last fall, only had my new Outboard for a couple of months, made a run from Ft. Washington to Nanjemoy Creek on the Potomac.  Round trip by water is probably about 90 miles.  By land it is about 20 miles...   lo

:shocking: Dang...that's a good cruise. In Indiana that would be 120 laps on our biggest lake.  lo

It has been a couple of years but from Houma to Venice La at about 200 + miles round trip in my 01 PIII, kept it at about 4800 rpm and burned about 42 gals. I ran the marsh and inside canals and filled up in Lafite on the way down because I did not know how much gas I would burn, and did not want to come up short. I have also made runs up into the Atchafalaya Basin out of Houma that were between 140-160 miles round trip quite a few times. Just make sure your cell phone is well charged and give your wife or someone else your basic route.

I've not made any really long runs. I did run my Baycat from the Val Monte motel to Mud creek I think it was, down at Guntersville. I made that run and back, three times that weekend. Also ran my current boat, CougarFTD about 25 miles one way on Ky Lake.

My current boat is too old to make any long runs.  Old motor+long runs=possible problems.  However, when I had my 03 Champ the longest run I made was about 80 miles round trip.  Made some fairly good runs back in the 90's in one of my Champs on Truman lake too.

Hey Bill don't you really mean your current boat and my future boat???  LOL!!!

About 10 miles. Keep in mind, I fish Eufaula, Wedowee, Martin and Guntersville,  Not seen a bass yet that can outrun a 200 Opt.  Thank God for my lakes.  I would be sick with long runs given the cost of fuel.

I can spend that change on cigars and good bourbon.
