I will be the acting tournament director at the LOP tournament, for TX Poormans, on July 7th from 6PM - 2AM.  I have consulted with the TX Poormans advisory committee and they have agree to allow us to fish with them as a combo-tournament. So those of you that have been wanting/needing to get in another event, then here's your chance. LA and TX Poormans will keep their membership pots, and 7 Pound Pots, seperate and there will be a combined tournament payout using the payout scale for TX Poormans...which is slightly different from the LA Poormans payout. We will also be using the TX Poormans rules for this event, which differ slightly, and they can be viewed at www.texaspoormans.com Over the past few years, there have been some 30+ pound sacks coming out of LOP at these evening events during this time of the year...so if you're into some topwater-toad action, this is definitely something I recommend. Registration will be at the Alley Creek Ramp, from 5:00pm - 5:45pm, with weigh-in at the same site at 2:00am. This event will require the purchase of a non-resident TX license, for those living in LA, and may be purchased online at the TX Parks and Wildlife website...since this is NOT a border lake.

2. Gerald Gregg/Robert Kilgore...12.37 lbs. ($160)
3. David Fanning/Chris Minchew...7.18
4. Cody Huffman/Tuff Huffman...4.81
5. Ted Martin/Todd Meyers...4.16
6. Jordon Osborne/Ian McGonigal
6. Chad Quin/Matt Paluch
6. Jeff Wyszynski/Phi Wyszynski

Big Bass: Gregg/Kilgore...5.25 pounds ($80)

Our next event will be on the Red River, Sept. 15th, where we will be voting for the Classic lake selection and going over rule changes/discussion...oh, and I will be feeding everyone after weigh-in. We encourage anyone interested in fishing with us next year to attend this weigh-in, everyone is welcome...I just need to know how many are coming, so I know how much food we need.
