Not a happy camper

So a month ago my first baitcaster broke.

So I ordered new parts from Mike's Reel Repair. I ordered the Wormshaft upgrade at $36.95 and added the ceramic pawl for $5

Well they emailed me because they did'nt even have the Pawls in yet as they were new, even though it was on there site. No biggy took 2 weeks to get it in then they shipped my order. Needless to say took me just shy of a month to get in the parts. Which I understand it says on there page it takes them quite a while. But then the parts came in last night....  Yep don't fit. I even told them it was for a 5600bcx when I made the order, it shows on there site 4000-6000 series and shows the 5600 as one of them. Wormshaft is longer, has no Washer on it, and the Line guide does'nt work with my model... why did'nt they just say so? I will never ever order parts from them again. Only thing that works is the Pawl.. I put that in one of my other BCX's..  Well the guess I will have to get another Lew's Speed Spool.. wish I had my $50 back

  Return the parts for only a 20% restocking fee... looks like I have spare parts.. that don't fit lol

how bout i make your day better. i believe i still have my abu bcx . if ya want you can have it and then you'll have even more extra parts. i was hoping to find a good use for it and what better way. if you want to let me know and ill check when i get home and make sure its the same model

I apreciate it but no thanks. I was only rebuilding that BCX because it was my first baitcaster, I stripped and repainted it and all  I have another BCX and a Lew's Speed Spool, Bidding on a Revo SX on ebay and a Bass Pro Qualifier to replace the old one.. I hope the Revo holds out for my bid but for 50 I'll take a PQ!
