New to Korea

Hi there I have just gotten to Korea, I'm up at Casey, my question is are there any close places to go fishing near the Camp? And can I just walk to the rivers and fish or can you only fish in certain places?
Any info would be great thanks.

Where abouts is Camp Casey??  I am not sure where it is located. Once I know what area of Korea you are in, I may be able to help out a little.

It's in Dongducheon about 2 hours north of Yongsan, Seoul. Not sure of what close by other then that. I know theres a small river that runs throught the city but haven't gotten to look at it just yet.

I do not know that area very well.
All I will say is, have a walk up and done that small river and look for others bass fishing, or bass fishing trash. If there is bass fishing there, you should find empty worm bags, hook packets etc lying around the river banks. Trash is a bit of a problem with some Korean anglers
