Triadelphia 5/13

Took my seven year old son out for a couple of hours today. Went to the area that I whacked the smallies last week and caught nothing but largemouth. Started with a worm and got a 2 liber and a nice 4 lber then found the rock pile that I caught several good sm off of and couldn't buy a strike with the worm. So I picked up my top water rod with a Rico on it and got a nice 2lber on the second cast long story short ended up catching 3 more good fish and lost one that was at least 5lb. usually don't fish top water this early but saw a post by Guinness Saying he got one on top water so I brought that rod  luckily!

glad to hear dbrunner, sounds like you guys had a awesome day! went to piney run in the rain today and me and my buddy put 20 in the boat my best was 4 lbs. my buddy lost a 5 as well right at the boat. all on bass assasins in baby bass color.

I like piney run only fished it once in a club tx, I won that tx with two 4 1/2 lbers in the last half hour of the tx. Only thing I don't like is the park fee.
