The Bee-line models of Phoenix Boats are made in the molds from the Bumble Bee. You may want to talk to someone who owns one of those and see how they handle. I know they are very fast boats and are very light but thats really all I know about them. I've never really seen a whole lot of complaints on the boats but then again I haven't seen a whole lot of bragging either. Sorry I couldn't be much more help.

I have a 2003 18.6 with a 150 VMax on it. It does chine a little at WOT, but it is not bad. It takes rough water well, and I have been in some pretty tough situations on Toledo Bend. I like the way the boat handles, and have absolutely no complaints about it whatsoever. It does have a jackplate on it, which probably helps. Wish they still made them in my opinion, but opinions are a dime a dozen.

I agree with Shawn in what he said. There are a good many of those boats around here where I live and the common denominator of the answers from the owners is that they are fast but, a handfull to drive due to chine walk and they complain about getting wet a lot. They do OK on smooth water but, those times are few around here where I live.
