UB Get Together - It Was a Blast

We had a little get together of UB members this past weekend at East Lake Fish Camp on East Lake Toho.  Baron49 spends a couple of months each year...mid January thru March...fishing in Florida.  This year he was staying at the East Lake Fish Camp.  A few of us drove to the lake for Saturday and Sunday to do a little fishing and visiting.  It was a great time.  The East Lake Fish Camp is a really nice place with several cabins to rent, about 250 hookups for RV's and campers, a great boat ramp, nice restaurant and store, and is easily accessible.  The boat ramp is on East Lake Toho and just a few minutes drive from West Toho.

We will start looking to next year's get together, hopefully it will be bigger and better.  It will probably be sometime in the last half of March.  So mark your calendars for the latter part of March 2013.

Thanks for the update... I never saw the post about East Toho until it was too late.

Mauro told me about it, and asked if I was going, you had sent me a PM asking if I was in way earlier, but I already had plans that weekend and Mauro had a wedding... needless to say...

We have about 5 people in the Tampa area that I know would go if we can get a formal date decided well in advance.

This year I was not even able to fish with Baron, whom I had fished with the past three years in a row.

I think we can make next years get together MUCH better...

We should do a Friday night Captains banquet, followed by a two day tournament.

All day Saturday and half day Sunday.

We are probably looking at March 2013 for the next get together.  Baron will be back in Florida for his annual trip in late January and everyone thought March was a good time.  We will narrow it down as soon as we can, probably once Baron gets down here.  He already booked his cabin at East Toho, so that is where we'll be staying again.
