I'm talking about Full tournament load, two people, 5800rpms, full livewells with 200HP motor.

1.  65?
2.  68?
3.  70?

Having the fastest is not critical.  There is very little info out there on this boat.

So many factors but I think to be safe with full load as stated, 65 sounds reasonable. I can run 70+ solo with all my gear, livewells empty and half tank of gas, with a partner, his equipment and full livewells, 66-67 with an Opti 225 on an LE21.

Bassbuff is running 70+ in his Le189 with a 200 Opti

Correction: Bassbuff is running 68-69 mph fully loaded and 70-72 mph in his LE195 with a 200 Opti.

Personally I think you should be able to hit 73 with the right prop. Most likely a 25-26 Fury. The alpha 191 should be a little lighter with the same HP motor, and I expect it will handle like a missile on rails.

Russ is right ;D. I carry half of BPS with me normally and usually run a 1/2 tank of gas during tourneys. Couple that with my partner, his gear and full livewells I'm usually 66-69 depending on the weather and water temp.

With just me, same gear, 1/3 tank, and empty livewells I'll run 70-72. 72.2 was the best I've ever seen.

I've got a regular 200 Optimax, not a ProXS ;). The Alpha 191 should be a little lighter than my LE 195 so performance should be a bit better.

So you own the other half of BPS? I was wondering who my top share holder was. I know without a doubt that my LE21 has 3-4 mph in her but the bait addiction has her working too hard...

~roflmao And here I was thinking I had the market cornered! I keep trying to get stuff out of the lockers but everytime I do I end up back at BPS getting stuff that I'll use one time and there goes the cycle of insanity ....... AGAIN! :bang ;)

Legend makes a very fine boat but I'm very happy with my BassCat.  However, I really like some of Legend's innovations.  It would be a big leap to leave the best dealer I've ever known.  No disrespect to Legend.  I'm from a school that dealer support trumps boat build. I found that with Brech Marine in Selma, AL.    I think every boat out there is built with the highest standards and I think Legend is right up there at the top.  I am impressed with their offerings.

Legend and BassCat are built  about 1/4 mile away from each other. Both are build well, but BC won't handle the rough water that a Legend will. As for customer support, Legend can't be beat. You may have found a good dealer, but the folks at the Legend factory treat you like family. NO DISRESPECT TO BASSCAT!!!

Russ,  no disrespect taken.  All good here.  Like I said Legend makes a quality boat and anyone would be easily impressed with their innovations.  All said life is good!

I'm getting 72 mph, with an Alpha 199, and a full tournament load with a 1/2 tank of gas.  That's on GPS, with a Fury prop and a 200 ProXS.

FishinSteelersFan,

Very impressive numbers with your setup.  Kudos to you and congrats.

The 191 is a fine rig but suffers a little bit with a lot of weight added.  I actually think the 199 is a better performer with a 200.  I think the 199 has much better lift.
