gps reading

i got a new speed on my boat when i hit the 53mph it was me holding a car gps in my hand but now i have a Lowrance elite 5 Dis and the top speed is around 50 and 54 on speedometer for the people who might want this setup

fishbone, how far is your prop below pad?  I've got a 185 with a 90 elpto and it's got a cnc jack plate and 23P trophy, but im only running about 45.  i havent really played with it all that much, i'm pretty sure i should be running a little faster.

whats your rpm showing 5500 is the max  and whats your water pressure  im not sure where to start the messure for the below pad but with the 23p that's not far off because when i had a 23p it went up to around 5800 the 24p should drop your rpm and give you more speed but make sure you have the right water pressure
