My new HD down image transducer won't mate up to my old transom mount hardware. Sooooo I have to redrill new mounting holes. What do you use to fill the old holes so no leaky?

Simplest way would be to reinstall the old screws with some good RTV rated for underwater. Home Depot sells some for aquariums that works well.

I had a buddy weld the holes with his tig welder.  I then used my die grinder with a 150 grit sanding disc to grind the welds flush.  After that I used scotch brite to restore the grain of the aluminum.  It came out great, unless you knew where to look you wouldn't be able to tell there were once holes there.

I run a tracker too, so when I had to use a different mounting bracket I just filled the old wholes with silicon and took a piece of rubber under the new bracket. The rubber was not needed but the extra I figured would not hurt anything. I used a piece of rubber from a old bike tire, and cut it just a little bigger then the bracket. I used an ail to mark and cut for the new whole so when the screw went in they did not have to cut through the rubber. I never had a bit of water get in the boat from that area so I was high and dry.  ;)

Just thought I'd post up my resolution. Went to Lowe's looking for some silicone type stuff and saw the Lock-tite 2 part marine epoxy. Holy smokes!! That stuff dries like iron. I do believe it is stronger than the aluminum around it. Just pushed some in the holes and just like the product description says, it didn't droop or sluff. We'll see how it holds up over time.
