Hey guys,

I am looking to upgrade my 2006 TR21X to a 2012 21XS. First question is

I was told that the new boats are the best riding boats for rough water and weigh less than the old TR21X, is this true? Secondly I am curious about what would be a good price. I was quoted $70,807 for the 21XS with a 250 Pro XS two power poles 101 trolling motor, elite series package and Lowrance HDS 10 w/insight and HDS 8 W/insight, Lowrance structure scan and Lowrance LGC 4000. these are the main options of course there are others. Base price without options was $66,601 with options $82,220 MSRP. But he said that they can hook me up for $70,807. Am I getting ripped off?

that's more than I paid for my first house in 1992 and as much (fully loaded) as I paid for my second house in 1996...   :shocking:

man, all I have to say is I am seriously doing something very wrong to not be able to afford the kinds of toys 'most folks' seem to have.

all I get to play with is a little tin boat that I bought for $3500 7 years ago... lo

Your not alone ColdFront,,,, paid $70,000.00 for our 3 bed room brick home with 3.5 acres in 1998.

Geo are you back in the area?

DBrooke

Yup, I'll keep my Tin, maybe a new Outboard!
This section under construction.

put in for every boat give away you can! Also the best bet you will ever have is used boats, because if you bought that boat for 70K you want get 40 or 50 for it if you put a little bit of time on it. So yeah you will get screwed.

Hey brother,

I am stationed at Andrews in Maryland. Wish I could have gotten back to Shreveport but the Air Force had a different plan for me. Fishing is awesome, just no Hawgs like we have down south.

Sorry you got sent to the cold!  LOL  I asked because there are a few folks here that you might remember who are on the local team and have demo boats,,,, I'm sure you could get a better price if you were interested in going that way.

GEO,
if you want to email me with all of your options. I can get a price worked up for you or if you have certain colors you are looking for, I will be glad to check it out here locally to see if the deal is sweeter for the drive down or transporting it up to you. Just let me know.
