Anyone ever built a deck extension for a Ranger or know anyone that does it. I need one for a 95 487vs.

Thanks

It's not a Ranger, but I built on for my Stratos to fill the void between the front deck and console. I used 1x2 inch strips mounted around the inside to make a "ledge" for the removable plywood panel that is the extension. I got two pieces of "project" wood (2x4 ft from Home Depot) in 3/4in and 1/4in and glued them together to make it 1in thick. I used a large piece of cardboard to make a template before actually cutting the extension to the exact shape. Once the final trimming was done I glued carpeting to the extension and set it in. It made fishing much easier and it's removable so I can take it out whenever the kids want to go tubing. You can see part of it in the picture of the UB decal in my gallery.

call the Ranger factory and they will be glad to sell you one.  I have a 95 Ranger that didn't have one when I bought it and I called them and they sold me one for about 200.
