Boats in mothballs and months of winter to suffer through. Dreaming about the return of spring and my trip to WI for smallie fishing.  You guys that fish all year: your very lucky.

Almost right there with you. Been tearing the reels down, cleaning them and re juicing them, cleaning the cork on the rods, checking the guides and just started going threw all my tackle, cleaning it up, inventory, checking hooks and organizing for next season. Also put my first big order of the year in today for new lures and such thanks to family that actually listened this year and got me some gift cards instead of flying lures or whatever else is on TV late night. LOL

Figure I got another two weeks of organizing and then I will be going nuts for the rest of the winter waiting for spring to get here.

Not to sure why the wife always gets upset this time year though. Personally I think our Oak Dinner Room Set Looks great this time of year. HEHE And this is just the pond bag, going to need another table or two for the boat gear. LOL

The wife should appreciate that you are practicing helping her set the table for guests.  ;D
In this case, Mr. Bass and his family will be visiting soon.  lo

We fish year round, but not always great. Fished the Fruit  jar yesterday one 4lb bass, pardner got zero as did many others. The winner had 17lbs 4.98big bass, so they are out there, just harder to catch. Water Tmp 49-50d air at launch 31d, weigh in 62d. Come on down to Louisiana.
Happy New Year.

I hear ya too.  I held off putting the boat away until just yesterday since the winter weather hadn't shown up until today.  The walleye have been biting pretty good so that helped take the sting away from no bass  fishing for awhile but now it looks like the long wait is on.  ~xyz
