According to Louisiana Freshwater Fishing Regulations... They don't give a rats ass how you catch them  ass long as you don't shoot them, use electricity or explosives

I was given an A-rig for Christmas and I'm sure it will get a lot of "play" time on Toledo Bend this Spring.

From everything I've read they are legal and work on the red river too...
