Ohhhhhhhh must have struck a nerve,,,, sorry SoftWood just wanted everyone to know that the national event invite wasn't near what you wanted folks to believe. I'll bow to you the self proclaimed "Expert" and say I'm sorry for letting some of that hot air of yours escape.

So how many years have you fished the ABA now? I've done it 3 and the last two without a boat.

With that in mind I'll take a 2nd in the ABA on my own anytime over a 1st from other peoples info. All the while getting it done from a 12 year old loaner boat without any working electronics rather than the free ride loaded with big flat screens a pro like you gets each year.

I also wanted to pass on my thanks because with all those bells and whistles you couldn't be bothered to bring any fish to the scales for our little club tournament at the start of the month. This allowed me to finally take a 1st and by over 6lbs even. I'm sure with the huge load you carry around had you manned up to the scales with us little guys I would have been reduced to 2nd once again.

We have been kicking around a way to do more of this but not as hard core over rods, boats, fishing lures tips/tricks and the like kind of like a Mike & Mike in the morning show but a bit more blood,,,, just not so much as to make one of us bleed out.

Don't be fooled by the harsh talk, any one of these guys would give the shirt off their back to help each other. Nothing beats good old male bonding... Take note, Cork gives Gullo more chit than almost anyone, but they fish together a good bit.

I'll be there for the fishin' but y'all will have to talk chit about me with out me being there...Mama has other plans - She didn't know my fishing included New Years Eve Celebrations! (In her defense, She has to tough out my fishing the TOBI every year on our Anniversary)

Possibly, but anything can happen. We placed better than Fogy a couple months ago in our club tourney on that lake! I couldn't finish the last tourney so he didn't have our full competition!

I may use others info occasionally, humm that part of the game. But you can only go so far on ABC fish, my brother. Get some equipment and move out into the big open water, you might do better.

Oh no, fair and square you had the best stringing on the club event 5 boats and two left early because of the rain. I had good fish in the waiting for the 30 boat event that was coming in 6 days. Unlike you, I don't know that lake that well and need to save those fish and was using the 5 boat tournament as a pre fish. I need all the time I can get on this majestic lake, because I don't LIVE on it.... And every time anyone tries to fish it more than once you bust their balls about having to pre fish SOOOO much. But Hey I'd try and protect the only water I had a shot on too.

Nationals had no air under my head but getting to fish against the best of the best and coming in 8th sure does. Oh and that check I took at they nationals that your so afraid off, covered the weeks stay in South Carolina..... Now if I could have had a gas sponsor
