Fruit Jar 12/31/11 Cross Lake

We were shooting for Hosston on this one but it is not fishable. I've been told by a couple of people
that you can launch at the public ramp on Cross again. With the extra rain in the forecast we should be good. We will fish on December 31st from safe light til 3. This is a team tournament and the entry is $30 with $10 BB per team. We will pay up to 3 places if the turnout allows. Post here if you plan on making it. Hope to see everyone there.

I know where and what he fishes, I'll go stick them all in prefish so we have a fighting chance

Hearing mixed results about the Cross ramp. So if not on cross then the river for sure. I will post here any changes. Hopefully the rain in the forecast will change some things.

I'm not a ringer, and have never fished cross.  If anyone needs a backseater for cross - I'm in.  If it's changed to the river...I am definately in - bet I can even find my own partner for that one...LOL

The launch I know of is Barrens u can get a big boat out of easy. Even with the recent rain. Cross didn't come up much. I live 5 min from it and go look at public launch weekly

James john...have you launched at barrons? i did saturday...anything but easy. The piers are all locked up becuase the sign on the door says closed during low water period.

I thought you were country?? I will make a decision with well enough time to get the word out. Safty is my number one concern. Although there is a team who is talking some serious trash about kicking everyone's butt! "Team Wackem and Stackem"?? Must have eaten their Weaties or something?

Went to cross today at ford park launch not looking good nothing in the water except Al. boats. Lake seems up from before, but still not enough to launch. If they don't pump some water it may not go up enough to use by spring. Did not go to Barron's it sounds like it is closed?
