Interested to see if Caddo, Bisteneau, Toledo. Black Bayou Hosston or any of them are rising with the rain we are getting.  Can't wait to get back on Caddo and feel safe running.

I think this rain may really help.  We have gotten close to 3 inches since yesterday.  Lake water levels still very low though.

Gallo was talking to me about one on Hosston after x-mas.  I am ready to start fishing again.

guess we have to wait till the grass gets down a bit!

Caddo has been coming up, but only a few inches. The rain we are getting right now will really help alot. We still have along ways to go for it to get safe levels to run and after what I've seen this year I'm not sure I would ever feel safe.

If we can't fish Hosston, Bistineau or the river are fishable!!

Out here in Benton, the area ponds are overflowing rivers right now. That doesn't mean much for the lakes except 1) the ground is saturated again, 2) there is a lot of run off, this is going to be great. Now if we can just keep it up.

Cypress is coming up nicely. Still needs a lot, but maybe we can get back to using the public launch before to long.

Probably will just waiting for it to get a little closer so I can go out there and look at the lake. If not there somewhere.

Just want to make sure we can launch and run the boat road. Should be in decent shape after all that rain. Looks like we will have a little more by then as well. I will make a new post about it on the 22nd when I get home and make the drive up there to look at it.

My brother in law just purchased a waterfront camp on Hosston. I'll save you the trip and keep you updated.

Thanks Kevin. Text me when you know something.

I looked at Black Bayou yesterday.  It is still really low.  In fact, it seems to be lower than ever.
Cypress is up a little.  A couple more rains like the last one will help it a lot.  Not sure if BB is going to recover unless we get a hurricane.

Black Bayou is up a good bit...the water is alot closer to the end of my dock now and there are a couple of logs that were exposed but are now underwater! It however, is no where close to normal pool!

BB looked a little higher to me this morning as well. I'm working in Hosston and find an excuse to drive over to the lake pretty much daily.

Well I did drive up yesterday and take a look from the dock. Went back today with the little 14 footer and ran up the boat lane a good ways. The water is still to low for any big boats and the grass is so bad you really can't get off of the boat lane. The only thing we could do was to get on the boat trails to duck blinds. I really don't see Hosston being able to hold any tournaments in the next couple of months.

Hey at least it's on the rise and not the fall anymore ~c~ ~c~ I understand that the past rain has only turned the corner in our favor, but hopefully future rain can now run off a little better and help matters quickly.
