Hey Guys, I am thinking of getting a Triton VT17 with an Optimax 75. I can get a good deal...here is what I would like to know...
Does the boat lean alot while one person is in it? I mean standing still and running down the lake.
Is is sluggish or really responsive while planing off?
Is it really rough riding?
Is the tungue weight on the trailer really heavy?
Would yu have purchased the boat again of you had the chance?
Thanks...

I have a Crestliner VT19. same boat as the Triton. the boat is very stable. I fished with three and there is no leaning. I have a 115 optimax and the boat gets on plane in about two seconds. like most tins, you are going to get a much rougher ride than a glass boat. tongue weight will not be an issue. I pull mine with a Ford Edge with no problems. one upgrade you should do is the tm. you will be using it more than on a glass boat and imo the 12v is just not enough for more than a half day. go with the 24v. Crestliner has a deal for the upgrade for 1.00. yeah, thats one dollar. this is my first tin after 35 years of glass and I am completely happy (but not my back). glass vs tin. pros and cons for each. unless you are making long runs on huge lakes, I think you will be happy. you'll pay a bit more than a Tracker equipted the same but I think the Triton/Crestliner are better built.

thanks for the response 3deez...they are an intriguing boat...for folks who prefer to go 'tin'...
