I just picked up my new-to-me bass boat, a 2005 TR-185. Took it for a spin on the lake this morning and it ran great with 3 of us in the boat. I can't wait to get it on the water by myself  v~

Boat came with....

150hp Mercury Optimax
36 volt 109lb Motor Guide Tour Edition
Hot foot
Jack plate
Bow mounted 25lb anchor winch

and saving the best for last......

Lowrance HDS-8 sonar

BK is a happy camper  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Thank you everyone!!!!!!!!!!  ;D

I am excited to say the least. I'm not even thinking about fishing right now, just thinking about running up and down the river  lo lo  But I will be throwing a lure or 2 to catch that first bass from the new boat, and it'll give me the chance to test out the livewell.

Bassthumb, you'll be surprised how many bass boats there are over here. The are 3 main Pro bass tourney circuits as well as many minor leagues. All the boats are from the USA of course.

Thanks Ron.
It's one heck of a difference. Even with 3 of us in the boat yesterday it felt like a solid platform when fishing.....very sturdy. It even ran very well in the strong wind and rough water.......it's amazing, I'm loving it!!  ;D

Ah, I just thought of one thing I am not enjoying about this boat.......

My old boat cost about $40 to fill up the fuel tank, but this new one cost me $250 to fill up  :shocking: :shocking: :shocking: lo  and the 2 stroke oil coats $50 per gallon  :o

What have I got myself into  ~roflmao
