Cooper River 01/01/06

Fishing proved to be pretty tough for this T with 21 boats. Weather was light winds (3-5mph), tide was incoming, and most of the hydrilla that we had been fishing is gone... Water temp (53deg) has been on the rise due to the warming trend we've had the past week but that's getting ready to change. Biggest sack weighed in went was 12lbs and Bigcheese and I took big fish with a 6lb even fish.... But the real story here is the fish that came in AFTER the Tourney!...

This 11.13# LM was supposedly caught on a hair jig in the river:


And this 7.07# LM one was caught on a crankbait:



Both of these fish were caught on a falling tide....

Been watching you guys for a while now. I was staioned there for 3 years back in the late 80's and fished alot, but its kinda hard to bass fish down at the Naval staion. Losts of catfish and mullet..... lo ....Lots of memories you guys are providing, I had a Chief that retired in Monk's Corner...Keep em coming guys...Dave
