Cancun in Dec

We are going to Cancun in December for a week. I would like to fish one day (1/2 day). Having a tough time deciding on a deep sea trip or a flats/fly fishing trip. Any thoughts???

January - March is really prime time sail fishing near Cancun/Cozemel.  If I were down there, that's what I would be doing.  Have you already booked the trip, how close will you be to January.  They fish for sail fish on light tackle, and you can expect 10-15 sail fish per day, although I've heard of 40-50 sail fish days.  Real exciting stuff...

We will be there early December. I was thinking a bone fish on a fly rod would be cool...but a sail fish on light tackle would be AWESOME!
