Fished on cayuga lake yesterday. Started out trying top water without a hit. Swithched over to a texas rigger senko with a 3/8 once weight and slowly but surely picked away at a few small bass north of long point state park In 15-20 ft of water. fished till about 1 when the wind really picked up and the waves started ripping. Water was really clear could probably see down 15 ft. Ended up catching about 5 or 6 little guys from about 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 lbs. Weather was  partly cloudy with some wind and scattered showers

Thanks for the report.  Have fished Cayuga and the other finger lakes and when they are on fire you can catch a boat load.......however when conditions get tough it is like they all left the lake.

Thanks for the report and looking forward to reading more of them.

Yeah i know i grew up on that lake seeing how my dad has a cottage on it.. there was a picture of a little kid with a ten pounder caught out of there. It goes both ways with this lake when its on its on and when its not its not..
