Hit the water later then I wanted, but still had a good day.  Fished my favorite section of Lake Ontario and was pleased to find that the bass were hitting even with the post cold front conditions.  With the winds blowing out of the north at about 10 mph there was a perfect chop on the water and was able to drift without needing to use the electric motor other then to correct the course.  Fished several ledges in about 12 to 15 foot of water with a jig and pig and caught several fish in the 3 lb class.  As the day wore on the bite dried up.  Went to some break lines in the same depths that have some milfoil on them and could not get bite on anything but a small finesse worm.  Once I got the pattern down both small mouths and largemouths were biting and I found small schools that I could catch several fish out of one area before the bite ended.  The fish were running from 2 1/2 pound to 4 pounds and only caught one dink all day.
