Livewell pump out

I have a new 2011 175txw and can't figure out how to get pump out feature to work in livewell. The manuel says to pull out recirculate nozzle but mine doesn't seem to pull out. There is a pump out position on the switch but when turned on it just seems to recirculate the water. Am I doing something wrong or maybe it does't have pump out feature even though it says pump out on the switch?

Sorry if it's a dumb question, but have you tried pushing in on the nozzle?

If its the same as my 06 175tx, pull on the red nozzle, it will pull out. Maybe cus its new it might be a bit hard at first. After its out, hit the recirculate switch and the water will pump out.

Pat,the only dumb questions are ones not asked,thanks for the reply,Frd was right, because it was new it was hard to pull out. Instead of a hard steady pull I gave it a quick snap pull and it came out, did it a couple more times seems to work find now, thanks for the help.

I bought mine used, I made mine hard to pull out because i was nervous to pull on it. Glad you figured it out.
