I just got my boat seats redone and this weekend my fishing partner spilt some chartruese dye on them.  Will the spike it dye remover work or do you guys have some this better.  I already blotted it with some bleach... that didn't work.

It worked on my partner's carpet, but it didn't sit very long. After spilling a bottle I went to the store and bought two bottles and cleaned it up for him that day.

I have a friend that has spilled multiple bottles in my boat on the seats and it disappears after a short time the only place I've seen it stay is carpet
He's has done that in 3 different boats and it just went away make sure you dont get that bleach on the thread on the seats it will be worse than that dye on there

That is why i will not use it as a co-angler.  If I had a boat and i spilled it in my own boat that is different than if someone else does it. ~rant

Yea I have no carpet in my boat so you see everything on my white decks, I tell my non boaters if they use it to hold it over the side please!

Don't wait any longer than you have too. The remover should get it out. But as mentioned it will fade away over time.

That is the reason I have a fishing boat and not a show boat. If you spill die on my boat seats I might make you replace the duck tape. lo

That little bit of chartruse on the tip of a worm tail makes a world of difference sometimes and it has a scent when fresh. SO I would rather catch fish then have people admir the upholstrey, a lot more will tear and rip and break while that die is wearing off. Just remeber how many big fish you caught on those days you got that stain or scatch or rip and they will look a lot better than a show room boat that never has caught fish.

Ditto to those who said it will fade away over time.....On my boat I don't use the dipping dye.....I use the spike it pencils they don't spill and do the same job without the spills.......
